The club provides many cycling activities and some of the most popular of which are the weekly club runs. On Saturdays we meet at 9am at Woodhatch Park, opposite The Angel pub (see ‘where we meet’) for a range of rides. Most weekends there is a choice of: * Newcomers/Social: 20 - 35 easy miles depending on the abilities of riders who turn up with a guaranteed tea stop * Social/Intermediate: a longer and more challenging ride of 40 - 55 miles at around 15mph average with a teastop and often taking in a few hills. Sometimes this ride will break into two groups with a faster group if appropriate. * Fast Intermediate: about the same length as a social intermediate ride but often one or two mph faster, and the teastop is not guaranteed. For stronger riders. * Sporting/Training ride: this is by invitation only and will usually be around 50m at 18mph ave or over!
