The Castle Ride is one of the most popular events in the South East, with nearly 1,000 cyclists taking part. This is a must do event for any serious cyclists and those seeking a first time challenge. However, whether you are a seasoned cyclist or a recreational rider, this event has been designed to make sure you have the perfect day in the saddle. There is a choice of 100km or 100-mile routes, both of which offer up a stiff challenge. The 100-mile route in particular offers some challenging climbs, including the horror of Hollingbourne! The grounds of Tonbridge Castle once again provide a unique venue for this popular event, where family and friends can gather at the finish to celebrate your achievement. The route itself takes you along quiet lanes, through the Kent countryside, with great feed stations along the way to keep you fueled for this epic ride. The event is fully supported by great route signs, marshals, bike mechanics, back-up vehicles, regular drink points and a fantastic lunch stop. You will also be cheered over the finish line as you receive your ride memento of the day. There is also an opportunity to join our bike volunteer crews.
