On 10th of April 2011 cyclists will be taking on the first ever Manchester Fly Ride. This amazing route starts in the picturesque Styal Country Park, before following parts of the Manchester Airport Orbital Loop. Riders will have the opportunity to marvel at the awesome power of aircraft in action, travel through the tunnels passing under the runway and take in the beautiful scenery of the Cheshire countryside. The Challenge Cyclists have the choice of going Long Haul or Short Haul on this ride, either taking on a 25 mile or a 14 mile ride. Whether you ride with friends, family, a group from the office or on your own, the Manchester Fly Ride is set to be a great day out for a great cause - raising money to help the 250,000 people in the UK living with disabilities caused by stroke. And for you Each participant will receive an entry pack containing a T-Shirt, route map and the all important sponsorship form. In addition, all those who successfully cross the finish line receive a medal to mark their fantastic cycling achievement. So what are you waiting for? Sign up today at www.stroke.org.uk/flyride Your entry fee only cover the cost of running the event, it's the sponsorship money you raise that goes towards The Stroke Association's vital work. We ask all adult participants to commit to raise £50 and £15 per child rider. Your entry pack will contain lots of handy hints on increasing your sponsorship, and the events team are always on hand to get you to, and hopefully beyond your target!
