Suffice to say it was a product sold by Halfords when it was in short trousers. I decided to return to Halfords a couple of years ago and bought one of their latest equivalents which has been fine for roads and family trails but I now know I want to get deeper into off-road cycling and find I am faced with a kaleidoscope of choices. I do not intend to go in for extreme MB but I do want to explore the more challenging trails in the Forest of Dean, the Malverns and other available locations. Hardtail (so descriptive) or full suspension? I know I have to shell out so the budget is around £600 absolute max - retirement comes at a price! Your informed suggestions will be very gratefully received. |
