Plastic spoke protector thing ma'jig

 Joined: 25 Jul 2012 Posts: 23 Bike: My Profile | Hi all, I recently noticed that my bike was rattling a bit when I was free wheeling. Today I noticed that one of the clips that holds the plastic disc between the gear cogs and the back wheel spokes has broken off(don't have a clue what the technical name is but I take it that it's there to stop the chain hitting the spokes in the event of the chain coming off) . The plastic disc is now very loose and really needs to be taken off. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement from and also if there's a version on the market that can be put on without the need to take the back wheel assembly off? .. The bike is a CBR Corsa by the way. Any help gratefully received. Cheers, Steve |
