Joined: 24 Jan 2010 Posts: 38 Bike: My Profile | My trusty old Dawes appears to be finding the end of the road. I've been quoted £160 to fix it, and frankly it will need more doing within the year even then. SO. Question which of the two makes above do you think offers the best value for money? I'm looking at around £300 to £350 price bracket. Mainly do road riding, with a few tracks thrown in where necessary. Def. want to keep the triple chainset (I LIKE my granny ring!!) but also like a bit of speed and 'fun'. (That indefinable factor). The LBS sell Ridgeback and swear by them (but they would). What do you guys think? I'm looking for a long-term love affair here - not a quick fling! |
