 Joined: 05 Jan 2013 Posts: 4 Bike: | Hello all. I'm looking for a hardtail mountain bike up to £500. The voodoo hoodoo seems to be highly rated by "What mountain bike" in June 2011 and covers a lot of the bases that I require. The bike will be used to do the coast to coast at some point as well as numerous trips to and around Kielder and the Lake District. This will include roads, tracks and rougher terrain in places. Any input will be helpful, as the last bike I owned was a Claude Butler Electra ( heavy with clunky front suspension) which served it's purpose for road riding with a few coal dust tracks thrown in. The crank had been replaced 4 times in it's 11 years of use, so I'm looking for a good introduction mountain bike that is more reliable and more enjoyable to use. |
