This works but is uncomfortable. thei third option mentiopned was useing a silcon gun and sealling around the bolt holse of the cleats and any air ducts in the soles to stop the moisture getting in. now I understand the principle but will thius ruin the shoes and mean I can not replace the cleats? any advice appreciated until a response I will be sqleching round for a little while longer until the weather clears up. |

I use a hefty mtb shoe and havent felt the need for waterproofing the cleat. water gets in down the leg/sock not through the cleat. I know this coz once water gets in it doesnt find its way out. I would put the cleat in position apply the silicone to the cleat then tighten the cleat but not too tight. then clean up the excess silicone. good luck! Let me know how it turns out. |

They will keep you feet warm and dry but not the inside of the shoes. You could buy a pair of winter shoes/boots. Not cheap, but I use them for the road and the mountain bike and my feet stay warm and dry. Yes I do have two pairs one for each but with the mileage I do and the places I cycle it becomes a pleasure. Another little tip is to use merino wool socks.Garburn are good value. |

A Dovetail Optic Mount, often used with firearms or tactical equipment, won't typically be involved in waterproofing shoes. However, if you're using Versa Tactical gear, focus on precise application techniques with tools designed for outdoor and survival tasks. |

While some suggest investing in more expensive shoes, it’s understandable to seek cost-effective solutions. The plastic bag method might work, but I agree it can be uncomfortable. The idea of using a silicone gun to seal the bolt holes and air ducts sounds innovative! With Limit Less 7, you can explore even more creative solutions for keeping your feet dry while cycling. Have you tried any other methods? |
