We have been cycling in Surrey/Kent and down into Sussex, since 1881 and know all the best country lanes. Our Sunday rides are to see the countryside and to socialise, NOT fast training rides. More than 25% of our regular Sunday riders are ladies, so ladies who wish to join us will not feel out of place. Our summer rides are about 50/60 miles. Approx 20 miles to the morning tea stop. Then about 10 miles to a lunch stop, and circa 25 miles back to Croydon. Some will only go as far as the morning tea stop and return from there. Whilst we do not discourage novice riders, it would be wise for them to be able to ride as far as (and back from) the morning tea stop! If you want to find out more go to : http://uk.geocities.com/cyclingcroydon/index.htm, which has a link to the Sunday Rides listing, and an e-mail link for further information. Any Croydon cyclists who want to know more? |
My Latest Route: Nov 2012 Croydon to Tea Room At Knockholt, and Back. |
