Basically they are planning to invest 10 million pounds in order to try and get kids better on bikes but also to encourage them to cycle to school. Sounds like a fairly good idea as they are going to get kids trained and tested on the roads rather than in the playground. Not sure if that is an accident waiting to happen lol. If I remember correctly my school used to do cycle proficiency but it was only every 2nd year and I missed out, shame lol. Full story here |
