This makes most bike bags sold for none folding bikes unusable. It also seems to mean that you can only put a touring bike on either as a bike or as registered luggage. They only guarantee that it'll get to your destination (eg Paris) within 24 hours of your arrival. Not much use if your travelling onwards to the South of France. The French train network seems to still allow bike bags of 120x90cm. But Eurostar cannot book a bike place on the train out of Paris. Has anyone any experience of trying to take bikes on the Eurostar recently? Eurostar seem to only want us to use folding bikes. Regards |
