Cycling in the Faversham Area

 Joined: 29 Sep 2011 Posts: 19 Bike: My Profile | Just a note to anyone reading this, I went out for a ride with Faversham Velotec, a new cycling group based in Faversham Kent. We did a 33 mile round trip taking in some lovely rural Kent countryside. The group are stuggling to get members! considering the number of cyclists in the area. The club/group is free, there is no joing charge. All that is required is that riders can ride a bike, ride in a group, know and understand the Highway code, and their bike is leaga. and road worthy. On that point the club is supported by a fully qualified cycle mechanic. This is not a racing group, but aimed at leisure cycling, and is ridden as fast as the slowest rider. well recommended, very social and everyone I met was great company. there next ride is on Saturday October 6, meeting at Faversham west, community car park. Come along you will enjoy it. |
