cycling buddies Stoke on Trent

 Joined: 06 Jun 2014 Posts: 18 Bike: My Profile | Hi, am looking for someone in Stoke on Trent area to ride with, I am no speed merchant I tend to get there in my own time. I have been riding on my own and covering 40 to 70 miles on my Italian Sintesi mtb. I use the canal network when possible but also the roads more so now that weather changes. I am not a lover of big groups, female or male welcome the slower the better for me :) |

Joined: 06 Jun 2014 Posts: 18 Bike: My Profile | I dont have any preferences really, wherever I ride I have to start from home as dont drive that however is no problem as I can make my way to anywhere. I started in April on National cycleway 55 which runs through biddulph to congleton on the old valley railway line, its not a long way to begin with also its off the road. I emailed S-o-T council and they sent me a lot of maps showing all the cycleways in stoke on trent, I found these useful. I also enjoy the canal towpath network, a good ride being from westport lake to stone and back, flat off road and friendly people. |
