1st time in Daly Forest

Joined: 23 May 2011 Posts: 2 Bike: | Last year I had a few of my mates we going up to the Go Ape centre in Dalby Forest. I decide to go for a ride around the Forest, whilst my other mates conquered the course, me being naive, went for a slope that was a bit too steep for my liking, the problem was that I had never really used my brakes before and with them being disks, the front locked up sending me up over the handlebars, did some sort of mini flip in the air and landed on my back. Luckily there was no one around to see me fail on my first real track. Got a nasty graze though. BTW im still a newbie to MBR |

I am not quite used to riding uphill yet and I was just trying to be spontaneous and try a track myself. It didn't end very well. It's a good thing that my injuries were very minor. Anyway, I am just distracting myself with video games while my wounds heal. I have found that playing among us using my PC and lily's garden pc have proven to be a great distraction from the stinging of my legs. |
