Joined: 23 Sep 2009 Posts: 5 Bike: My Profile | see safe routes here for a cyclepath out of chester: http://www.cycle-route.com/routes/Chester_Rail_Circular-Cycle-Route- 2126.html follow above route to the railway bridge over the river dee nr. shotton. take the path over bridge going right along the opposite bank. Follow national cycle route 5 signs from here, (take care on road through oakanholt) It does use very quiet back-roads after flint but eventually links up to a coastal path near a holiday camp at gronnant . This takes you on to colwyn bay traffic free along the coast. |
