Cycle route - Oxford to Paris

Joined: 20 Aug 2012 Posts: 1 Bike: | I cycled this very route with my Son last year. We did Oxford to Portsmouth on day 1 via Pangbourne Basingstoke,Alton, Petersfield. Day2 early morning ferry to Le Harve then PM cycle to Rouen. Day 3 Rouen to Paris. Day 4 PAris then return via Train to Portsmouth and back to Oxford. We used mainly minor roads. Despite the south downs it is mainly down hill to Portsmouth. Cycling in France was excellent wide quite roads. I live near oxford and might be interested in doing it again. |
