Lancaster to Manchester

Joined: 16 Jul 2008 Posts: 8 Bike: My Profile | Anyone got a good route from Lancaster to Manchester. It's OK as far as Preston, through Avenham Park then on the old tramway, but after that it's just a slog. I've been via the A49, then from Standish to the A6 and in through Salford. Any better ideas? |
