Joined: 28 Aug 2011 Posts: 244 Bike: My Profile | There are many options here having done a good few long distance rides I would say you need to contact CTC or visit their web page or the Sunstrand web pages for routes . Or plan your own route Portsmouth to Liverpool is a distance of about 280 miles this would take 4 days really hard riding going the most direct route. The most i have done in one day is 170 that was really hard and i suffered for it for days afterwards i also consider myself to be distance rider,but once you get over 100 mile in a day unless you are really fit and can stay in the saddle for 7/8 hours then you need to plan on a week a least for a journey of this type. |
