Mountain biking tyne and wear

Joined: 07 Oct 2011 Posts: 10 Bike: My Profile | Hi Wayne Have you been on the derwent valley, its part of the c2c I usually start from the pedestrian tunnel north side and end up on the waskerley way, its 95% off road and not a hard ride at all. There is also an off road path from Jarrow to birtley which continues with a long climb to tanfield There is quite a lot of off-road paths and tracks around Tyne and wear Depending on where you live |

Contact the Local Authority for the area you want to ride in via their websites and they'll send you one free. Also I've noticed some smaller independent bike shops have a small supply of these to give out. Good luck, enjoy the views, exercise and achievement! |
