Route from Heckmondwike to Leeds?? - Page 2

Joined: 28 Feb 2009 Posts: 8 Bike: | Hi I am looking for a safe communter route from Heckmondwike to Leeds. I am really uncomfortable riding on roads and not sure how to get over that fear. There is a really good cycle path through Heckmondwike but it goes in completely the wrong direction, and there is a good tow path through Leeds but again, the wrong direction. At the moment I am driving to the tow path and cycling along it to Leeds, but this is not reducing my driving distance. I will need to carry on driving part of the route for some time as I work on fitness. Thanks |
