Scenic routes in Yorkshire area

Joined: 22 Jul 2008 Posts: 10 Bike: My Profile | Hi cyclists, A friend and I try to get away for a 4 day cycle ride each year and this has been fine when we were both based in Scotland as we knew many routes up here. However he has recently moved down to London, so we are looking at a location half way between Stirling and London (I assumed Yorkshire), where we can drive to the start, cycle 3 or 4 days (approx 50 miles) per day and return to the same location. Therefore I am looking for advice on scenic routes approc 150 - 200 miles that allow us to start and finish at the same location - preferably on country lanes or quiet roads. Many thanks in advance.
