Joined: 08 Dec 2011 Posts: 4 Bike: | Wanting to get into new cycling year but not made it yet! Is there anyone wanting to cycle from Shiremoor/Wallsend/North Shields area I'm 60, health fair to critical :) got a hybrid (wish I had both)am available most days but not Wednesday or Thurs. |

I'm 54, reasonably fit and ride a 26er and a 29er mountain bikes. Went out today on the reivers route, through the ped tunnel, along to gateshead, return on the north side of the river. 30 miles in total, but did have a coffee at the bike hub at ouseburn. So leave a post if you want to meet up sometime. alas58. |

Joined: 08 Dec 2011 Posts: 4 Bike: | Hi Thanks for the reply, the lighter nights will make a difference for getting out, I'm thinking of friday or saturday for a run out, I live in west allotment so can pick up the waggon ways for any direction, I've been in the Hub its canny cuppa, I usually do the one you describe or over the town moor or take the tracks up to the airport, sometimes the coast...let me know if can make either day - cheers Alan and by the way my bike's a Ridgeback from Edinbrugh Cycles....:) |
