It took me 3 hours and hurt real bad. the route itself is very pleasent with nothing major but in total I did 27 miles and it was to much to soon. Has anyone else done the wheel and what are there thoughts on it? |

It can take about 3hrs at a decent pace ,but I tend to stop at the Shaws arms for a drink or by the river cafe for a brew and chat to other cyclists. The first time I did it was when the plans were 1st published before the signs and roads were down, very good ride at that time for off roading but its much better now its finished and all the signs are in place. It will be better still when they finish the works at Red Scar/crematorium. Its causing havoc in both directions but will be well worth it when completed. If ever you want company again doing it, drop me a line and if I'm free, I'll join you. Bye for now, Ali |
