You can then follow the railway line pretty much all the way to formby then either follow your nose through formby or go onto the cyclepath along side the formby bypass towards hightown! You want to pick up the b5193 and then head towards little Crosby. Try and pick up dibb lane or pick up signs for Hall rd or blundellsands railway station!! There is a few signs for the anthony gormly statues at crosby seafront!! Once you are on the sea wall its a straight route to liverpool just follow the river!! At seaforth you do have to go on to the main liverpool southport rd which is pretty busy! I go over the flyover but you can go underneath then drop down onto the lower dock rd. It would take me an hr and a half or so i reckon so good luck! Ps i'm new as well so hope i've been of help matt |

Just thought this may be of use? I'd like to chat & see if there are routes we can swap, possibly catching up sometime? Cheers Martin |

You can either follow the railway along various footpaths towards hightown then goto little crosby and find your way to the mersey then follow that all the to town! Or like the other post said you can follow the Leeds Liverpool canal to the edge of the town centre! I've done that before and then ridden along prom to hunts cross and then come back up the TPT! Hope that's of help! Matt |
