Hi there,

I am new to the area and have just rented a house in heswall and will be working in wallasey from september. Can anyone advise me as to the quickest/safest/best way to pedal to wallasey from heswall each day?

regards,

Hi Chris, I live in wallasey and my parents live in Heswall so I do that route often. The short route I use back from Mum/Dads is- Pensby rd to Arrow Park Hosp then down the hill the straight over roundabout by Sainsbury, up the hill then straight across lights at Upton, keep going straight to Moreton Cross then straight over that roundabout along pasture road over railway bridge road then bends sharp right into Leasowe rd which is dead straight for a mile or so. Your will then be in Wallasey village. Then depends what part of Wallasey you work in its quite a big Town.Thats about 10/11 miles takes me about an hour on acoverted mtb(skinny tyres rigid carbon forks etc). There are more interesting scenic routes following the coast(thurstaston, caldy,w kirby, hoylake, meols, moreton, new brighton) but nearer 20 miles that way.

It's late finding this act. At least, it's a thing to be familiar with that there are such events exist. I agree with your Blog and I will be back to inspect it more in the future so please keep up your act. Banyan Hill

Truly, this article is really one of the very best in the history of articles. I am a antique ’Article’ collector and I sometimes read some new articles if I find them interesting. And I found this one pretty fascinating and it should go into my collection. Very good work! Banyan Hill
