Anyone know any good bike rides in yorkshire?

Joined: 28 Jan 2010 Posts: 1 Bike: | Hi all! Im wondering if anyone would be able to help me? Im trying to plan a charity bike ride around September time somewhere in Yorkshire. Ideally it would be about 30 miles and part of a loop (i know beggers cant be choosers, but to plan a loop bike ride is much easier and cheeper! :) Im new to this, so any help would be greatly appriciated.... Joined: 25 Oct 2009 Posts: 2 Bike: | There are some good circular routes around Harrogate if you fancy more hills or plenty around York which are flat. I tend to use google maps or multimap and just pick a starting point. I then put in a number of destinations to create a loop and check it for distance that way. You can even set it to avoid the more major roads to keep you away from the heavier traffic. |
