Best coffee stops.

Mine is the Rendezvous at Whitley Bay as it is a nice 14 mile round trip to and back home, great views of St Mary's,not expensive. Hope to get some feedback on what others think. Many thanks for any responce. |

Joined: 17 Jul 2010 Posts: 89 Bike: My Profile | The old Bishops Stortford to Braintree rail line in Essex has been converted to a long distance path and cycle track. Rayne station has reopened as a coffee shop that is very welcoming when you get there. Its open every day of the year except xmas day. Its a strange feeling sitting on the platform supping tea at a station where no train will ever arrive. From what I recall there is a similar but larger arrangement at one of the stations near Reepham on the excellent Marriotts way in Norfolk. |

Joined: 16 Jan 2009 Posts: 498 Bike: My Profile | coffee and tea are a bit like male grooming products - a tax on stupidity vile, filthy muddy water drink, based on beans and leaves trafficked around the world to service an implied addiction. that said, i like to take my stops at the top of hills, look at the view etc. If i were to stop in at an establishment it would serve the far more palatable barley & hops based dirty water drink! |

Currently, my friend recommends trying pumpkin spice coffee. I like the taste, And after exploring, I got to know that there is a variety out there, so I will want to try new flavors. |
