Joined: 15 Feb 2010 Posts: 22 Bike: My Profile | Hi Abby. I'd turn left at the bottom of Liverpool Road, negotiating crossings on Regent Rd then left down Ordsall Lane to junction with Trafford Road. Once there you have choice of turning right and weaving your way through Salford Quays or going left and over the old swing bridge before turning right and heading along Trafford Wharf Road towards Imperial War Museum and turning right just before you reach IWM. I tend to take the latter option and use the pavement after crossing Trafford road at the Ordsall lane lights as its quite wide and Trafford Rd can get busy. I wouldn't a recommend the shortcut through the actual Ordsall estate because it's like a carpet of broken glass at times. Hope the site below helps as well http://www.opencyclemap.org/ |
