I've done a few cycle tours but only in my own country and lasting no more that 4 days so this will be a real test(i'm bloody itching to hit the road). My route is Cherbourg, all the way down the west coast of France, crossing the French/Spanish border on the coast, into Pamplona and straight down Spain avoiding Madrid and into Gilbraltar I'm confident in my bike, bags, clothing, tent and myself. The reason why i've chosen to do this trip in March is due to the coldish climate(love cycling in crappy weather purely for the challenge) I'm wondering if anyone has done this route before or even parts of it?Are there any towns or places you could recommend me seeing or avoid? Any tips big or small or any advice you could give would be much appreciated and welcomed Hope to hear from you soon Thanks |

We are going down the west coast of France and in to Spain to Pamploma, then going down the west side of Madrid via Sergovia and Toledo. We will be very interested in the route you take. Will you be putting anything on the internet as you go along ? Regards Chris Higham |
