Converting a Specialized Vita Elite Disc to a Touring Cycle for a C-T-C

 Joined: 25 Nov 2012 Posts: 5 Bike: My Profile | Hi Folks this is my first post here and having done two long distance cycle touring trips in the past, I'd like to have a go at the Highland C-T-C next Spring with this new bike I've bought http://www.specialized.com/fi/en/bikes/multi-use/vita/vitaelitedisc#geometry which was really for commuting to work this winter. I have ordered the bike today and according to the salesman in the shop it can be converted to fit panniers (front and rear). I also need to fit some quality mudguards and was wondering if anyone here has some good insight into the ideal type of panniers and mudguards for this type of cycle. Thanks Hilz |
