Cycle from London to Russia via Holland and Easter Europe

Joined: 29 Jul 2010 Posts: 1 Bike: | Hi Guys, I am planning to do this trip solo and unsupported from 1st April 2011. I have come to realise that I would like someone or some people to join me. This will make it more fun, cheaper, easier to carry equipment and supplies and lastly, safer. I am planning to go cva france, belgium, holland, germany, poland, latvia, lithuania, estonia, finland, russia. I plan to take around a month with about 21 days cycling and 10 days visiting places. I plan to do this on mega budget but have budgeted £1000 for this whole trip. Please join me for any leg or the whole thing. p.s. I am 27, into cycling and enjoy a good night out and good banter and will cover from 50 - 100 miles per day (am flexible, will do less or more to match you!) Thanks |

I try to camp as much as possible as I likr to and it keeps the cost down. Recently went to Germany and had a ball what a great country for cyclists. I would consider joining you for some or all of the trip depending on my circumstances at the time. I try to cycle about 100kms a day depending on terrain i am 49 and I,m cycling crazy. Your trip sounds amazing. I work in travel so if you neeed any practical info about visas or returning back to the uk let me know. The company i work for also has an office in Moscow. good luck Ian |

I was planning on cycling from London and then getting a ferry to Holland, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and possibly onto Russi to St Petersburg. Im also planning on doing this on my own so was hoping to get some idea on distance, price (i need to keep it as cheap as possible, even thinking of camping to save money), route and road conditons. Would have been pretty good to have teamed on this one cheers dan |
