I'll be asking for a new front derailleur as mine seems to have stopped shifting smoothly (stripped, greased and repeated over and over again with no joy). I may as well upgrade while I'm at it to some XTR's. And I really need some decent winter clothing incl. a water/wind proof jacket, and some cycling trousers. A new jersey'd be nice too, but I might be pushing it now...although this is a 'Wish List'! |

We go on quite a few cycling breaks so it'd be good to not get lost for a change. My standard trip computer broke a couple of months back so its an ideal time to upgrade :) |

Whereas the cheaper ones are still like the hiking GPS's. I guess you get what you pay for. Seeing as the cycling ones are waterproof and much more compact than the car ones - they can charge a premium... |

Not sure how long it's been around but they call it 'Project One'. You choose what series bike you want, then the graphics and colours, gears, wheelsets etc etc... The one I made up was over £5000 which sound a lot (OK yeah it is a lot!) but you do get a unique bike - they even add a personalised text just below the seatpost. It looked great... but probably should! Still it's going on my xmas list (albeit a late addition). |
