Energy Bars / Eating on a long ride

Joined: 21 Mar 2012 Posts: 1 Bike: | I am about to embark on the C2C, I am sure it varies, what should I be eating when on the bike to keep my energy levels up. I will be taking water on board , is there anything else I should drink besides water to help? I am a rookie at this. |

Joined: 03 Jul 2009 Posts: 41 Bike: My Profile | Hi I usually have 1 bottle of water and 1 bottle of Science in Sport Go Sports Fuel. Also have homemade flapjacks or buy something similar. Another essential is jelly babies - the amount of times of these has dug me out of an energy low. |
