Getting back into cycling

Joined: 03 Sep 2010 Posts: 4 Bike: My Profile | Just getting back into cycling and want some decent routes without much traffic (so cycle routes and greenways would be best) around the Basildon / Brentwood / Grays areas of Essex. Any ideas? Also any one want a buddy for some rides in the same area? Not competitive and road (use hybrid bike as the most suitable for me). Thanks |

Joined: 18 Sep 2010 Posts: 4 Bike: | I'd just head off over langon hills way - there's not much you can do to avoid traffic in the basildon area (I'm in Leigh and have the same issues)but the roads there are reasonably quiet and plenty of hills to get you red in the face and panting like a pornstar. |
