I currently use a bottle but would like to get a rucksack, however I also want to be able to store a wet weather lightweight jacket and a couple of small odds and sods. At the same time I want to keep it relatively small. Having read reviews the camalbak range seem to be well thought of, if a little expensive (dont mind paying if they are good though). I am looking at a 2 litre hydration tank and as I say enough room for a jacket, phone etc, dont need much more than that. I would be grateful for any suggestions. Cheers Michael |

On a whizz round the forest I have a Camelbak Rogue, carries 2 litres of fluid, pump, phone etc and you can squish a light weight cagoul in the back. I really like them, they are comfortable, good quality, you can jam kit into the pockets and the zips don't seem to mind too much. One thing I do take though is a bottle of water/ juice as well...because the hydration bag is in the rucksack, you can't guage how much you have left...so on a hot day it's too easy to find yourself sucking on an empty tank miles from the nearest drink. Hope this helps Ray |

It has the two litres your looking forand all the rest would fit easy without it being to bulky. Hope it helps |

The cloudwalker looks a little bulky for me, I only tend to be out riding for between 1 and 3 hours. Maybe best to pop into Halfords to compare the size etc of the two as they stock both models. I have seen the rogue online for £35 delivered so its not a bad price. Cheers Michael |
