Lands End to Bristol

Joined: 24 Jul 2012 Posts: 2 Bike: | Hey all, i'm relatively new to road cycling, and i cant get enough of it. I want to cycle from Lands End to Bristol next summer (2013) Does anyone have any advice, tried and tested routes? i don't want to follow the main A30 all the way home. Somebody has mentioned Cycle Route 3, is this road bike worthy or more for ATBs? I'm guessing the ride will be split over 4 or 5 days. Any help will be greatly appreciated |

Joined: 27 Feb 2011 Posts: 38 Bike: My Profile | hi jim we done the route 3 a couple of years ago and realy enjoyed it , its a tough route but do able on any type of bike we rode dawes galaxys with 21 kgs of kit so sould be ok. only got as far as golant before cutting across to dartmouth then back up to leicester. |
