Hello all, first post in here, so be patient....

I've been riding a Genesis Core 20 (2011 model) for 18 months but have decided i want to buy a new bike as am planning a few big trips this summer. I'm looking to spend £1000 give or take, and have found a few bikes i like, but I'm stuck with the decision to go 29" or stay 26".

I've read reviews for and against, at the moment i'm leaning for.

Any comments?

As you have read reviews there is little to add, apart from keep your genesis if it is a 26er for twisty trails, and get a 29er for rides that need a bit more speed and can roll better over obstacles.

Of course you can compromise and wait a little longer for more 27B;s to come on stream ie scott is pushing this size bike.
