I have a budget of £1'500 to spend on my first road bike, should I buy a carbon or Ali bike, I am about 16 and half stone, so would I be better suited to Ali? I currently ride about 150 miles a week on a mountain bike will semi knobbly tyres and need more speed !!!!!!!!!! Thanks. |

When they know you've got a fair bit o cash to part with & you're serious, they'll be more than helpful. Plus, you get the backing of your local bike shop, invaluable, especially if you're 'new' to the sport. My tuppence, fwiw, says try a van nicholas mistral. Good reviews, last a lifetimereliability, a bit 'different' than the 'usual', within budget. But then, you might hate the ride....best of luck! |
