It is good as it is a hardtail so it is suitable for road riding and i have got spare chunky tyres if i fancy an offroad downhill run. I am currently looking at new bikes as i think if i get a hybrid or a road bike, i can ride it to work faster and keep my decathlon bike for weekend use. Another reason for a new one is that i have degreased and regreased the chain, keep it well lubricated but cant change in to top gear which is a pain when i'm trying to keep the speed up on small incline roads. I've got a budget of around five hundred pounds i think (don't tell the missus!). Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks guys Jim |

When you do buy your bike, try to do so locally, that way it makes it easier to get it's first two free services. If you take it to your police station, they should put a postcode sticker on it for free. Looking for a bargain is part of the shopping experience, the internet has helped too, but you can get caught out by the postage. Good luck and enjoy your new riding experience. |
