I later discovered there is an established European shipping link west - east linking the Rhine to the Danube. I would like to ride the route in sections, say one week at a time. This year (September) I'd like to link Frankfurt with Munich via Nuremburg. If the weather is good enough I usually cycle / camp and do about 50 miles / day. Anybody interested? |

Total coast - coast would take about 5 weeks, so I'm trying to do weekly sections, eg Frankfurt - Munich, then Munich - Vienna, etc. Look for a book called Jack de Crow by Sandy McKinnon. He reached the Black Sea on a little boat, and he started from Shrewsbury. |
