Joined: 14 Feb 2015 Posts: 1 Bike: | I have been dreaming for about 5 years about cycling the Atlantic coast of France.....I,m 72 years of age man......I have experienced the tranquility of the French countryside and want more.I realise being a pensioner that a 70 miles a day approach would be plain stupid..My approach will be probably a maximum of 30 or 35 miles per day but I intend to linger in one place for a couple of days should I decide to for one reason or another..The one thing that will never be on my mind is to get back ASAP.......I want to enjoy every kilometer and take in the French scenery.I getpleasure from just studying the route and dreaming.......Can I ask those who know the route,How much are B&Bs currently in France and how frequent are they on the Velodossey?.......I also wonder if there any lady cyclists out there who are interested in such an adventure to France.....Femail companionship would be nice. As you get older sometimes there are 50 reasons to not go off on an adventure like that but it would be nice to try |
