Should I buy a bike from Halfords - Page 6

Joined: 22 Sep 2009 Posts: 3 Bike: | I can get a large discount from the company I work for if I buy a bike from Halfords in addition to this I can still benefit from the bike to work scheme. Collective this would mean nearly fifty percent discount. On looking on the site the have a Carera which boasts a corbon frame and some good bits hanging from it. Its mark up is £1000. My mate explained that mountain bikers shy away from Halfords and the street cred for their own brand is poor. I suppose my question is why is this and should I chance buying this bike? Please help |
