Used to do anything from 25 to 100 miles a day at weekend, but that was a long time ago. I came back to cycling 6 weeks ago after a break of 40 years, now aged 62. A lot has changed, more traffic, better bikes, and either the hills have got bigger or it’s just me getting old Dave |

Retired so mainly a leisure cyclist but I'll use a bike if I'm going shopping locally. I do the "Round the Isle of Wight" every May bank holiday, with my daughter and her boyfriend. (www.cycleisland.co.uk). It's free, friendly and great fun! 70 miles, all uphill! Recently did the Coast-to-Coast from Whitehaven to Tynemouth in 3 days with the aforementioned couple + bf's Dad. Should be out tomorrow on a leisurely "organised" ride with friends near Horsham. |
