Joined: 07 Jun 2009 Posts: 21 Bike: My Profile | Yep. once off road took 14 hours over 2 days but we stopped and played on the beach for a couple of hours on day 1 as it was so nice. 2nd time is 50-60 miles on road and took us 6 hours with a break for lunch. |

Joined: 29 Jul 2009 Posts: 7 Bike: My Profile | There is an established "round the island" route. It's 70 miles long and well signposted. I was in the I of W last week, and enjoyed the cycling. I went across the centre of the island from east to west (Ryde to Yarmouth). It is surprisingly hilly - but lots of great empty B roads - even in the hight of summer. |
