Clipless pedals and shoes

Joined: 17 Dec 2012 Posts: 4 Bike: | Just bought some SPD peddles and Spealized shoes. I find the shoes make the outside of my feet hurt,as if there to narrow is this common or do I need to buy a bigger size shoe. I am a 10 as are the shoe ? |

Joined: 13 Nov 2012 Posts: 6 Bike: | It maybe the fit or you may need a varus wedge ( wedge to the inside ) to align your foot. I had similar problem only on my left foot but after adjusting my cleats all was well. Got to any good bike shop and they'd tell you for sure. |

Joined: 02 Sep 2011 Posts: 49 Bike: My Profile | I used to get the same pain with spd and did find loosening a bit helped however I then changed to Look Keo max and they have a slight lateral movement and never had the same happen to me. |
