Joined: 21 Jul 2019 Posts: 2 Bike: | Hi all ???? I'm new to bike packing or as some veterans might still call it touring? I'm travelling by train to Edinburgh next Saturday and then from Edinburgh Waverly I will be cycling to Falkland Fife. Hopefully using the NCN Route 1? My question is I'd like to be able to have a gpx file of the route from Edinburgh to at least Queensferry as I'm a country bumpkin so cycling in an unfamiliar big city with a heavily laden bike makes me nervous so I would not like to detour or stray from the route. I've been to a couple of sustrans events and people always assure me that the NCN routes are clearly waymarked. However I've found that this is simply not the case, usually due to vandalism. Is there anyone who happens to have a gpx file of NCN Route 1 from Edinburgh Waverley (or nearby) to Queensferry South or even Falkland using route 1 and or route 76? I would be hugely appreciative. Many thanks in advance. I use both Strava and Komoot if that's any help with a preference for Komoot as I have the premium version where I can adjust my route etc on my device. Not interested in subscribing to Strava when Komoot is a one off payment and lightyears ahead in terms of planning routes and editing them all on mobile device without having to go anywhere near a computer!
