Glasgow to Inverness National Route 7

Joined: 12 May 2010 Posts: 13 Bike: My Profile | Hello, a group of us are considering a cycling tour from Glasgow to Inverness using NR7, sometime in the summer, probably taking 4 or 5 days. I wondered if anyone has done the route and what advice or tips you can offer, such as how is the terrain and good stopping off points. We generally aim to cycle about 50 miles a day and stay in B&B's for a hot shower and a good breakfast to start the next day. And of course somewhere to enjoy a few ales! Any help appreciated. Rick |
