looking for a starter road bike !

Joined: 25 Feb 2010 Posts: 372 Bike: My Profile | Specialised Allez is a solid starter bike, well reviewed and supported by Allez rideres. I reviewed a few when i was looking a few years back. I went with a raliegh AF10 in the end as it was brand new but just second hand - the tyres still had the rubber nipples on them, could turn down a new bike for half the price. Good luck |

Joined: 13 Sep 2012 Posts: 1 Bike: | I got the Specialized Allez Sport last year, and have been extremely pleased with it. After a year, I've had to refresh the tape, and changed the tyres to Gator Skins (fewer punctures) but other than that it's been a great bike. Evans have it on special at the moment. |
