night time riding renfrewshire

Joined: 20 Sep 2009 Posts: 25 Bike: My Profile | For those that didn't know, I think its the whole route from Linwood to Kilmacolm as I just done it today an didnt see any track lights would like 2 know why this is. It does get very dark in this area so beware |

Joined: 03 Aug 2009 Posts: 16 Bike: My Profile | The NCN isn't lit as a rule unless using public paths. Sustrans do not have the funding to light them all! The paths are pretty safe once you get away from Paisley/Linwood. If you're riding at night, then you arer required by law to have front and rear lights anyway. |
