I have been using these now for over 4000 miles on Trails & towpaths and never yet had a puncture where something has penetrated the tread of the tyre. Have a look at earlier threads as they have been discussed several times and come highly recommended. |

So far ive done about 400miles and they have been great, the ride is smoother, I think because the tyre wall is good quality. The only down side is they are a heavy tyre, but id rather get fit lugging them about than sit on side of road fixing a puncture !! |

When fitting, you have to give your inner tube a bit more air than usual to get the tyre on the rim but once they're on, you'll never need to take them off and never look back. 2011 Lands End to John O Groats, 2012 Santander (Spain) to St Malo (France) as well as daily commutes to work and many local sportives and no punctures ! Usually around £29 per tyre although I have seen them for £22 on some websites, just be careful where you buy and support your local Bike Shop if you can. |

This in itself doesn't sound a big deal in itself but I recently completed Durness to Dover (not in one go) and the southern end of the run (NCR route 1) involved chunks of off road bits where the flinty kind of sharp rock was everywhere. Not even a nick in a tyre, let alone a puncture. These tyres are phenomenal. I am quite a hefty guy and I just don't know why I haven't at least punctured the rear wheel tyre! I am just back yesterday from two days in the Perthshire hills camping with my son.(sensibly, he took his mountain bike) We were off road on an extremely rough track most of the time and at times only a walkers track. I was hauling a heavily laden trailer with all the gear in. I was firing rocks and pebbles off to the side all the time and still NO PUNCTURES! These tyres are a little costly - but well worth the money. Regards, Jim |
